my version of a critique.

I am not a movie critic. I don't even think that I am. These are two very different things. However, it does not take very much to get me to like a movie.
But... He's Just Not That Into You, while starting at passable, about halfway through became... well, abysmal, which, given its cast, is pretty depressing. The dialogue made me so sad. Just... simply the writing, not even the way the characters ended up. But the literal writing. I would have done a better job.  Or, as my roommate said, her sister (a high school senior) would have done a better job. Also, none of the women had any personalities at all. The only differences one could really pick up on between any women in the cast were their (slightly) levels of desperation... which was directly tied to their place in the plot. It is ironic that while one would have to be a woman to really enjoy this movie, one would also have to not give a fuck about any of the women in it enough to realize that every character is the same person at a different romantic stage in her life.

Justin Long is hot, though. I mean, really. His voice. Ohhh I swooned. Why on earth did you break up with him, Drew? I never would have. Jesus.
