I dyed my hair brown today... I don't want to still be dying my hair red when I have kids, which means I don't want to be dying my hair red in the wedding pictures they will inevitably see... so I'm ending the pattern early. My new lovely hair person Kris said it will take one to three more dyes before I can just let it do what it wants... The brown is a little darker than I wanted, but it should lighten up, since it's only day 1.
Also since I am too poor to go back and do that shit all the time, I will probably be using a box for the time being... but hopefully he matched to my roots close enough that I won't even think about dying it for another two months.
Being a brunette is weird. I feel like I am supposed to be such a grown-up now with my grown-up semi-realistic hair. And I got bangs.
